FX Operations Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Validate and confirm FX trades including spot, forward, swap, NDFs, and options with counterparties
• Manage end-to-end FX confirmation and settlement processes in alignment with market deadlines and internal SLAs
• Use platforms such as SWIFT, Misys, FXall, GTSS, BBG, CLS, and LCH to match trade confirmations
• Monitor unmatched or disputed trades and resolve discrepancies through investigation and reconciliation
• Liaise with front office, compliance, finance, and IT teams to support the full trade lifecycle
• Ensure timely settlement of FX trades by communicating with counterparties, custodians, and internal stakeholders
• Monitor nostro accounts to ensure funding and settlement accuracy
• Drive automation and STP initiatives to improve operational efficiency
• Provide leadership in broader projects as a subject matter expert and manage KRI/Operating Metrics reporting

Requirements

• MBA or equivalent degree
• Strong knowledge of back office trade life cycle, specifically confirmations and settlements
• Deep understanding of Global Markets Treasury, Custody, and cash management
• Proven experience in people management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with the SWIFT network, including message types and operational procedures
