FX Automation - QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and automated testing strategies to validate software functionality and performance.
• Create and maintain automated test scripts using testing frameworks to facilitate early defect detection.
• Perform root cause analysis for identified defects and collaborate closely with developers to support resolution.
• Participate in design discussions, analyze requirements, and contribute to the development of acceptance criteria.
• Conduct manual and exploratory testing to ensure high-quality user experiences.
• Engage in code reviews and promote a culture of technical excellence and knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements

• Strong experience in QA and test automation.
• Proficiency in Java.
• Experience with SQL or DSL queries.
• Hands-on experience with log file analysis, debugging, and messaging for server-side testing.
• Proven track record in the creation, maintenance, and execution of automated tests.
• Extensive background in manual and exploratory testing methods.
• Familiarity with build automation tools such as Maven or Gradle.
• Working knowledge of JIRA and issue tracking systems.
• Solid understanding of Agile development, Shift Left, and TDD approaches.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a large, global team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with continuous integration systems like TeamCity or Jenkins.
• Proficiency with version control systems such as GIT.
• Previous experience in the FX or Banking domain.
