Harper is an AI-native commercial insurance company in San Francisco. We're rebuilding the entire business as software, turning expert human judgment into compute for a trillion-dollar industry.

Responsibilities

• Perform frontline operator work including sales calls, processing applications, and handling customer service
• Document every process, decision, and edge case encountered during frontline operations
• Convert tribal knowledge into structured templates, workflows, and specifications for engineering
• Utilize AI tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and Lovable to build and fix processes
• Translate operational learnings into automation systems

Requirements

• Early career professional (recent graduate or 0–2 years of experience) with standout results
• High agency mindset with a tendency to build and fix things independently
• Willingness to perform unglamorous, execution-heavy frontline work
• Strong pattern-spotting abilities to identify and redesign broken processes
• Proficiency with or rapid ability to learn AI tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience starting a company, project, or community
• Technical background
• Prior customer-facing experience
