Furniture Repair Craftsman

Responsibilities

• Evaluate furniture to determine required wood or upholstery repairs, parts, and materials
• Perform upholstery repairs including panel installation, spring and frame repairs, leather work, and hand sewing
• Execute case good repairs such as burn-ins, refinishing, joinery, and color matching
• Manage shop inventory and vehicle maintenance in partnership with technicians
• Perform in-home furniture repairs and process items returned to the Distribution Center
• Respect customer property to prevent in-home damage

Requirements

• 21+ years of age
• Clean driving record
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 75 lbs individually or 150 lbs as a team
• Intermediate to expert knowledge in woodworking, leather upholstery, and paint/stain color matching

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of consumer product delivery or repair experience
