Furniture & Lighting Outside Sales Specialist

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage client relationships with homeowners, designers, decorators, realtors, developers, and property managers
• Generate sales through Concierge, Encore, and To-The-Trade service programs
• Conduct client consultations in the showroom, virtually, and onsite for furnishings, lighting, and art
• Prepare and present proposals and quotes for project orders
• Manage project sales from presentation through order tracking, vendor communication, and shipping coordination
• Coordinate with bookkeeping and operations to forecast payments and track purchase orders
• Partner with marketing to build outreach campaigns and sales tools
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of furnishings, lighting, and decorative lines
• Participate in trade shows, designer show houses, and industry events
• Collaborate with leadership on strategies to reach sales goals

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of experience in luxury furnishings, lighting, or interior design
• Knowledge of furnishings, decorative arts, and lighting
• Proven success in project-based sales
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
• Familiarity with project management tools like Monday.com
• Working knowledge of Shopify, Instagram, and Canva
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to manage multiple active projects
• Must be based in or near Athens, Georgia

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Decorative Arts, or a related field
