Fundraising Specialist

Responsibilities

• Identify and foster relationships with potential investors including angel investors, venture capitalists, and private equity firms
• Edit, update and present compelling pitch decks, financial forecasts, and other materials
• Oversee the preparation and submission of necessary documentation for due diligence
• Manage the entire process of funding rounds including negotiating terms and conditions
• Maintain strong relationships with current investors and provide regular updates
• Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy aligned with long-term vision
• Provide regular updates and reports to the leadership team on fundraising progress

Requirements

• Proven experience in fundraising, investor relations, or venture capital
• Experience within the startup ecosystem
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, PR, Sales, or a related field
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to craft and present persuasive narratives
• Deep understanding of the startup funding landscape
• Proactive and self-starting personality

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or equivalent advanced qualification
• Strong network within the startup and investment community
• Experience in fundraising for early-stage or high-growth startups
• Familiarity with diverse funding sources like crowdfunding
