Funding Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage the auto loan origination process from initial application review through final funding
• Evaluate all documents, programs, and verifications for validity to ensure integrity
• Communicate loan funding statuses to originators, sales teams, titles, and leadership
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all loan funding activities
• Ensure strict adherence to internal company policies and external industry regulations
• Provide superior customer service to internal teams and external partners, including automobile dealers and loan applicants
• Identify opportunities for process and control improvements and communicate findings to management

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in Auto Originations or Funding
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Strong typing, data entry, and computer navigation skills with high accuracy
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for professional interaction
• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
• Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional work experience
• Previous experience in indirect auto lending or subprime auto finance
