Funding and Financing Strategy Senior Advisor

Responsibilities

• Advise public and private organizations on project and program funding and financing options
• Oversee the development of financial models, quantitative analyses, and data analytics
• Provide strategic guidance to clients regarding funding needs and opportunities
• Research industry trends and evaluate various financing alternatives and priorities
• Review reports, memorandums, and client-ready documentation
• Lead client meetings, workshops, and presentations
• Track and interpret federal legislation and guidance to support infrastructure planning

Requirements

• 12+ years of relevant professional experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with financial modeling expertise
• Proven experience in the transportation, infrastructure, or related sectors
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in parallel

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Finance, Planning, Public Policy, or a related discipline
• Familiarity with Federal Transit Administration (FTA) or USDOT funding programs (e.g., CIG, TIFIA, RRIF)
• Knowledge of financial aspects related to energy, water, and other infrastructure
• Strong understanding of federal and state-level infrastructure policy
