Fundamentals Financial Analyst

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial reporting documents including earnings reports, offering memorandums, lender presentations, and credit agreements
• Prepare detailed financial models including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Capital Structure, and Ratio Analysis
• Build and maintain a coverage universe of issuer models updated quarterly, monthly, and for key events
• Leverage AI tools to improve workflow efficiency and automate repetitive tasks
• Participate in ad hoc projects to improve data quality and products
• Work an initial 7:00 am – 4:00 pm shift for six months to ensure training overlap with the European team

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in economics, accounting, or finance
• Ability to interpret financial statements and quantitatively model business drivers
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with tenacity for complex issues
• Strong interest in credit and financial markets
• Desire to learn and apply new skills to grow professionally
