About the role

Responsibilities

  • Maintain global clean products and renewables supply-demand and balance models, monitoring production, refining demand, inventory trends, and global trade flows
  • Analyze differentials, quality impacts, and arbitrage opportunities to provide proactive ad-hoc analytics
  • Deliver timely market intelligence and insights to trading, scheduling, and origination teams to support commercial decision-making
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity across market databases, models, and reporting outputs
  • Provide regular market updates and forward-looking analysis highlighting risks, opportunities, and structural shifts
  • Translate complex market dynamics into actionable strategies using modeling, visualization, and analytical tools

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Marine, or a related discipline
  • 3+ years of related experience in commodity or market analysis
  • Proficiency in analytical modeling and scenario analysis
  • Experience working with large datasets (e.g., AIS, market data feeds, pricing services)
  • Strong ability to communicate complex analytical findings to commercial stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of commodity supply-demand fundamentals, including production, refining, and global trade patterns
  • Experience analyzing market differentials, quality impacts, and regional pricing benchmarks
  • Exposure to clean products and renewables markets (tankers, dry bulk, or LNG/LPG)
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
