Fund Services Tax Senior Associate

Responsibilities

• Provide U.S. tax reporting solutions for alternative investment products, including hedge funds and private equity partnerships
• Assist business groups on tax reporting requirements and communicate project status to managers
• Ensure all checklists, controls, and tax records are maintained in accordance with internal audit guidelines
• Coordinate daily with the Boston tax team and maintain effective communication with global stakeholders
• Train junior staff on tax report generation and design on-the-job training programs
• Supervise the work of tax associates and resolve complex queries
• Identify and report risk, compliance issues, breaches, and suspicious activities
• Propose ideas to management to support continuous operational improvements

Requirements

• 5-6 years of experience in financial services
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Proven ability to work effectively as a team player

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in US taxation
• Full-time Master of Business Administration (MBA) or an equivalent degree from a reputed university
• Superior proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel and Word
