Fund Reporting, Fund Operations, Private Equity

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly and annual accounts and records for numerous internal entities
• Support and review corporate processes throughout quarter-end and year-end cycles
• Prepare and review accruals, billings, management fee calculations, and waterfall calculations
• Review quarterly and annual account packages from fund administrators for private equity funds
• Support Fund Managers in investment transactions, including LPA compliance and performance calculations
• Oversee reporting deliverables including compliance certifications and regulatory reporting
• Monitor and implement new accounting pronouncements under US GAAP, IFRS, and Canadian GAAP
• Liaise with fund auditors and support the delivery of quarterly investor reporting

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of related experience in fund accounting or operations
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, IFRS, and Canadian GAAP reporting guidelines
• Experience working with bank debt, bonds, equities, and FX swaps
• Demonstrated understanding of fund structures, fee calculations, and financial instruments
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
• CPA designation is preferred
• Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail

• Experience with Investran
• Experience supporting closed-end private equity funds
