Fund Operations - Client Servicing Associate

Responsibilities

• Produce and validate IFRS-compliant and regulatory financial reports accurately and timely
• Take ownership of reporting activities, hub governance, and service change request project management
• Analyze client accounting records and escalate potential issues
• Coordinate client visits for service reviews, accounting, and technology training
• Act as a leadership link between internal and external parties to resolve accounting or product issues
• Maintain orderly client records and service level agreements for audits and query management
• Support continuous development of group processes and controls
• Provide training and development for junior team members

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related disciplines
• At least 6 years of financial reporting, audit, or fund accounting experience
• Fluency in written and spoken Japanese
• Strong understanding of security types and accounting treatments
• Knowledge of stock market practices and data vendor systems like Bloomberg
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, VBA, and Access
• Professional approach to client service and effective communication skills
• Ability to work additional hours during peak reporting periods

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) or International Accounting Standards (IAS)
• Operational experience in Investment Compliance or Performance Analytics
