Fund Legal Officer

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day legal administration services to mutual fund clients
• Prepare Board meeting materials including agendas, memoranda, resolutions, and draft minutes
• Draft Board meeting minutes and resolutions for review by senior attorneys
• Prepare SEC filings, including annual updates to Registration Statements on Form N-1A, supplements, Form N-PX, and Form N-CSR
• Maintain and adhere to corporate filings calendars and recurring board agendas
• Coordinate with clients, outside counsel, and fund service providers regarding fund issues
• Map and update data on ProNavigator

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a paralegal
• Experience within the financial services industry
• Working knowledge of legal administration services for mutual fund clients
• Proven experience with SEC filings
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
