Fund Administration Senior Associate

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze periodic (quarterly, semi-annual, and annual) financial statements for alternative investment funds, including Hedge, Private Equity, and Real Estate.
• Ensure all documentation used to calculate and support financial statement disclosures is accurate and resolve any discrepancies.
• Perform detailed reviews of general ledger balances and draft disclosures in accordance with IFRS and US GAAP requirements.
• Maintain reporting binders and adhere to the financial statements production calendar.
• Coordinate the distribution of financial statement drafts and manage the resolution of comments from internal and external parties.
• Test new financial reporting applications and templates, suggesting process improvements and automation enhancements.

Requirements

• University degree in accounting or finance.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel and Word.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Superior attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and work effectively under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications

• Enrollment in an accounting designation program.
• Practical knowledge of preparing financial statements under IFRS and US GAAP.
