Fund Administration Associate 2

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze periodic financial statements (quarterly, semi-annual, and annual) for alternative investment funds including Mutual, Hedge, Private Equity, and Real Estate.
• Set up and maintain reporting binders, ensuring all documentation used for financial statement disclosures is accurate and complete.
• Perform detailed reviews of general ledger balances and resolve discrepancies with applicable parties.
• Draft financial statement disclosures in accordance with IFRS and US GAAP requirements.
• Coordinate the distribution of financial statements and manage the receipt and resolution of comments from internal and external parties.
• Test new financial reporting applications and templates to suggest process improvements and automation.

Requirements

• University degree in accounting or finance.
• Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Superior attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and work effectively under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications

• Enrollment in an accounting designation program.
• Practical experience in the preparation of financial statements.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
