Fund Accounting Associate

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting and securities records for assigned funds
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in accounting or securities transactions
• Ensure timely NAV production and accounting validation
• Prepare files in accordance with internal control checklists
• Reconcile capital flows and third-party/internal forward foreign exchange contracts
• Utilize WINS-INVEST ONE, GTI, and Titan systems to research portfolio issues
• Analyze fund performance to verify valuation accuracy
• Assist with ad hoc inquiries from internal and external clients
• Document procedures and identify control improvements

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience in banking, financial services, or accounting firms
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency with computer applications
• Flexibility to work shifts
• Good written and spoken English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate or post-graduate degree
• Experience in automated processing environments
• Understanding of security types and their accounting treatments
• Awareness of stock market practices and data vendor systems like Bloomberg
• Knowledge of fund Custodian Bank and Investment Manager processes
