Fund Accounting Assistant Vice President

Responsibilities

• Oversee the activities of staff and manage day-to-day functional or oversight teams
• Manage daily service delivery and production activities to ensure NAV/yield accuracy and adherence to SLAs
• Implement workflow changes and technical solutions to improve productivity and profitability
• Identify and analyze operational risks and recommend necessary procedural changes or controls
• Conduct periodic performance reviews and provide ongoing training, counsel, and motivation to staff
• Coordinate and manage projects within the department and across various business units
• Monitor for unusual or suspicious transaction activity and escalate in accordance with corporate policy

Requirements

• At least 12 years of related Custody and/or Fund Accounting experience
• Proven experience in a management or supervisory capacity
• Strong knowledge of securities language and legal requirements
• Solid understanding of operational functions within Custody and/or Fund Accounting
• Demonstrated computer proficiency and working knowledge of various software applications
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and management skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts (post 7pm login)
