Fund Accounting Analyst

Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting responsibilities within monthly, quarterly, and annual closing cycles
• Assist in oversight of the Funds’ Administrator
• Manage investor reporting and requests including capital calls, distributions, and reporting
• Assist with quarterly valuation processes and fund audit processes
• Assist fundraising team in preparing fund marketing documents
• Liaison with investment professionals on structuring, cash movements, and investment performance
• Assist with complex waterfall and management fee calculations
• Assist with various compliance reports and fund expense reporting
• Identify and help solve for critical accounting and reporting issues

Requirements

• Strong understanding and application of accounting rules and industry practices
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and deadline-driven
• Adept at problem solving and working in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• 3-5 years of accounting experience in public accounting, fund administration, or private equity
• Professional certification (CPA or equivalent)
• Experience with alternative investments, private equity, and partnership accounting
• Proficiency with Advent Geneva and advanced Excel skills
• Experience with credit and structured products (Bank Debt, HY Bonds, CLOs)
