Fund Accounting & Administration, Vice President

Responsibilities

• Supervise lower-level staff including Associates, Senior Staff, and AVPs
• Manage client relationships with fund investors and client personnel
• Review quarterly and annual financial work paper packages, portfolio schedules, and accruals
• Oversee the preparation of capital calls, distributions, and management fee calculations
• Coordinate annual audits and tax return preparation with Big 4 accounting firms
• Review waterfall and capital account allocations
• Ensure compliance with investment fund legal documents and limited partnership agreements
• Manage internal workflows and ensure all client deadlines are met

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 12+ years of general ledger accounting or audit experience
• 6+ years of leadership experience
• Extensive experience in financial reporting
• Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and VLOOKUP
• Private Equity or Private Market accounting experience
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

• Experience with Investran or Geneva
