Fund Accountant

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review daily T+1 P&L reporting
• Identify and investigate P&L discrepancies by collaborating with fund administrators, operations, and risk teams
• Review portfolio valuations across multiple investment strategies and asset classes, including Equities, Rates, FX, and Credit
• Assist in the monthly NAV closing process, including the review of reconciliations for cash, trades, positions, and other balances
• Review investment and non-investment accruals
• Support the review of investor allocations and ensure timely distribution of investor statements
• Contribute to maintaining strong financial controls and reporting accuracy

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of fund accounting experience, ideally within a hedge fund environment
• Strong understanding of investment products across Equity, Rates, FX, and Credit
• Excellent analytical skills and high attention to detail
• Strong control mindset and commitment to accuracy

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SS&C, Enfusion, or Arcesium
• Prior experience in a Big 4 firm auditing funds
• ACCA or CFA qualification
