Fund Accountant

Responsibilities

• Oversee Taiwan fund accounting activities, including NAV calculation and valuation
• Represent Taiwan Fund Accounting at local and regional levels for cross-functional projects
• Support and oversee fund accounting-related regulatory reporting
• Manage fund administration vendors with a strong risk and control mindset
• Coordinate fund financial statement audits with external auditors
• Manage trade processing, settlement, and related controls to mitigate operational risks
• Act as a key point of contact for external clients and internal stakeholders
• Ensure all control processes, such as reconciliations and payments, comply with UBS standards and regulatory requirements
• Support fund life-cycle events including launches, mergers, liquidations, and maturities
• Design and deliver customized reports to meet client and business requirements

Requirements

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• 10+ years of experience in fund accounting or relevant functions
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• Strong analytical skills with sound judgment and logical thinking
• Proven ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
