Responsibilities

• Assist with quarterly NAV close and financial statement processes, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and LPAs
• Perform reconciliations of P&L, cash, capital, and investment positions
• Manage complex private portfolio company transactions, including secondary transactions and restructurings
• Calculate waterfall, carried interest, management fees, and expense allocations
• Calculate performance metrics including Gross/Net IRR, TVPI, and DPI
• Coordinate capital calls, distributions, and wire executions
• Support valuation governance under ASC 820 and prepare pricing documentation
• Lead the annual audit process and coordinate with tax providers
• Design and implement accounting policies, internal controls, and best practices
• Partner with Business, Investor Relations, and Compliance teams

Requirements

• 2–6 years of progressive experience in fund accounting (Private Equity, Fund Administration, or Alternative Investments)
• CPA certification or active pursuit of one
• Expertise in interpreting Limited Partnership Agreements and Private Placement Memoranda
• Proficiency with Excel and data analysis
• Experience with complex entity structures and report consolidations
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work onsite in New York City

Preferred Qualifications

• Public accounting experience (Big 4/Top 10)
• Experience in a startup environment
• Registered Fund working experience
• IFRS experience
• Familiarity with process automation tools
