About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end portfolio fund accounting including transactions, reconciliations, valuations, and corporate action processing
- Prepare Net Asset Value (NAV) workpapers, performance reports, and investor statements
- Prepare comprehensive financial statements including statements of assets and liabilities, operations, and cash flows
- Ensure accurate accounting for various investments such as equities, fixed income, options, futures, and private equity
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Understanding of investments, securities, and financial markets
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience at a fund administrator, hedge fund, private equity fund, or in audit roles
- Working knowledge of Bloomberg and Paxus
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Ability to work periodic overtime
