Fund Accountant

About the Company

Hanover Park is building the AI-native ERP that will define private markets infrastructure. We have built a proprietary general ledger accounting system from the ground up, designed specifically for complex investment firms, serving over $15 billion in assets under administration.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for 5-10 client engagement teams
• Manage core fund accounting workflows including books and records, capital calls, distributions, allocations, waterfalls, and capital account statements
• Deliver financial reporting that meets client SLAs
• Communicate directly with fund CFOs, COOs, and GPs
• Integrate into AI-assisted workflows and use automation to reduce manual tasks
• Surface process improvement opportunities to the engineering team

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Fund accounting experience in alternative investments
• Fluency in fund structures, LPA terms, and industry accounting standards
• Technical skills including AI/Claude
• Strong client-facing communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Venture capital, private equity, or private credit expertise
• CPA or CPA candidate
• Big 4 public accounting background
• Genuine curiosity about AI transformation in fund administration
