Functional Verification Engineer

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the verification of IP, Blocks, or Subsystems at the SoC level
• Generate comprehensive verification documentation, including test plans, test strategy documents, and assertion lists
• Analyze and debug assigned blocks and verification tasks
• Develop and own verification environments and components

Requirements

• 2-6 years of experience in functional verification
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Expert proficiency in SystemVerilog, Verilog, and OVM/UVM verification methodologies
• Strong understanding of digital verification aspects, including constrained random verification, functional coverage, code coverage, and assertions
• Working experience with AMBA interface protocols (AXI, AHB, APB)
• Hands-on experience with protocols such as UART, I2C, SPI, QSPI, I3C, eMMC, or CAN
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Perl
• Experience with industry-standard debug tools and waveform viewers

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with high-speed protocols such as PCIe, USB, DDR, LPDDR, GBE, or SATA
• Ability to quickly adopt new technologies and proactively take on responsibilities to meet team goals
