Functional Tester

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans and test cases based on business requirements and technical specifications
• Execute manual and automated tests to identify defects and ensure software quality
• Report bugs and issues to the development team with detailed reproduction steps
• Conduct regression testing to ensure code changes do not affect existing functionalities
• Document test cases, results, and defects for development and maintenance
• Work closely with developers and QA analysts in an Agile environment
• Conduct performance testing to ensure software meets benchmarks
• Participate in and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate business workflows

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience as a Functional Tester or similar role
• Proficiency in Selenium, JIRA, Jenkins, Java, Python, and SQL
• Hands-on experience with SAFe/Agile frameworks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior government or federal experience
• Ability to obtain a government clearance
