Functional Test Methods Engineer

Responsibilities

• Industrialize and maintain functional test procedures for train components
• Validate technical protocols for train qualification according to client specifications
• Contribute to the technical validation of test simulators and test benches
• Update and optimize test sequences based on technical evolutions in wiring and architecture
• Provide technical support to test technicians for diagnostics and anomaly resolution
• Implement continuous improvement actions to reduce test cycle times
• Ensure strict compliance with EHS (Environment, Health, Safety) rules during testing activities
• Maintain and update technical documentation including test instructions and validation documents

Requirements

• Engineering degree or Master's degree (Bac+5) in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or physical measurements
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the railway sector
• Strong knowledge of electricity, electronics, and schematic interpretation
• Understanding of train architectures, including embedded systems and I/O
• Experience in test industrialization and product qualification
• Proficiency in English (technical documentation and international exchanges)
• Spanish is a plus
