Functional QA/Software Testing - Senior Associate

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements and functional specifications into detailed test scenarios and test cases
• Perform functional, integration, system, and regression testing to ensure high application quality
• Execute test cases, log defects, and track them through resolution using defect management tools
• Participate in test planning, estimation, and execution activities across various releases
• Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production validation activities
• Maintain comprehensive test documentation including test plans and results aligned to project standards
• Ensure adherence to SDLC and Agile processes, including active participation in sprint ceremonies

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in Functional and Manual Testing
• Strong knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and SDLC methodologies
• Hands-on experience with test case design, execution, and defect management
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Exposure to testing tools such as JIRA or ALM
• Basic understanding of SQL and database testing
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within the Financial Services domain
• Exposure to test automation concepts
• Understanding of CI/CD or DevOps processes
• Knowledge of API testing concepts
