About the role
Responsibilities
- Extract, transform, load, and verify U.S. current and future force structure data across Air, Land, Sea, Space, Cyber, and Special Operations domains
- Develop and maintain methodologies to capture and present historical operations databases to support Department-wide strategic studies
- Build and enhance integrated databases containing military data to support force planning and capability studies
- Collaborate with Department of Defense (DoW) stakeholders to acquire data and document quality constraints
- Develop automated tools and processes to expedite data acquisition and implement systemic transformation routines
- Create and tailor datasets for use in models, simulations, and analytic methods to capture enabling capabilities
- Provide subject matter expertise on data development and capability readiness to support technical studies and rapid assessments
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI Clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- 10+ years of experience in military operations research, the DoW PPBE process, or force/capability development (JCIDS)
- 10+ years of experience working with DoW stakeholders to manage complex datasets such as force structure or global logistics
- 3+ years of experience leading analytic or operations research teams as a Team Lead
- 10+ years of experience interfacing with clients regarding strategic planning and data-driven policy decisions
- Advanced expertise in using SQL to manage and query logistics, force inventories, and intelligence reports
