Functional Area Analyst III

Responsibilities

• Support the CAPE Joint Data Support (JDS) Division by collecting and managing non-U.S. forces inventory, capability, and deployment data
• Provide subject matter expertise on intelligence and non-U.S. data to support analytic studies and strategic decision support
• Work with the Intelligence Community to acquire, evaluate, and verify accurate non-U.S. forces, units, equipment (FUE), and infrastructure data
• Develop and enhance methodologies to capture, organize, and present current and future year non-U.S. FUE databases
• Research and document allied and partner-related data, including constraints such as classification and data pedigree
• Create, transform, and tailor datasets for use in studies, models, simulations, and other analytic methods
• Establish collaborative relationships with data providers and subject matter experts to ensure data accuracy

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor's degree
• 8 years of experience in military operations research, PPBE, force/capability development, or intelligence analysis
• 8 years of experience working with DOD stakeholders to collect and refine complex datasets
• Proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL)
• Ability to work on-site at the Pentagon with minimal travel (0-20%)
