Functional Area Analyst II

Responsibilities

• Extract, transform, load, and verify U.S. current and future force structure data across Air, Land, Sea, Space, Cyber, and Special Operations domains
• Develop and maintain methodologies to capture and present historical operations databases to support national security studies
• Build and enhance integrated databases containing military data to support force planning and capability studies
• Collaborate with Department of Defense (DoD) stakeholders to acquire data and document quality constraints
• Develop automated tools and processes to expedite data acquisition and implement systemic transformation routines
• Create and tailor datasets for use in models, simulations, and analytic methods
• Provide subject matter expertise on data development and capability readiness analysis to support technical studies and rapid assessments

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor's degree
• 4 years of experience in military operations research, force/capability development, or intelligence analysis
• 4 years of experience working with complex datasets and interfacing with DoD stakeholders
• Proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL)
