About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of powertrain and drive system integration for all-electric pick-up trucks and rugged SUVs
- Critically review available software/functions and propose improvements for modules
- Design and create drive system integration and testing strategies
- Liaise with concept architects and testing/calibration teams to provide technical input
- Coordinate prototype and serial development stages regarding software availability and releases
- Partner with systems architect teams to solve engineering and functional challenges
- Perform hands-on prototyping and software implementation
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Technology, or IT systems (Electrical Engineering preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in concept engineering or serial development within the automotive industry
- Experience in software and function development and integration processes for drive systems
- Advanced project steering and independent project management skills
- Proven ability to work in cross-functional and global environments
