About the role
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and own parking functionalities including Automated Parking Assist (APA), Remote Parking, and Automated Valet Parking (AVP)
- Develop and integrate planning and control components for low-speed parking scenarios
- Use simulation and data tooling to track and improve KPIs over virtual tests and real-world data sets
- Test functions hands-on in test vehicles on test tracks and public roads
- Collaborate with simulation and data tooling experts to accelerate development
- Share common components, tooling, and data processes with active safety and L2++ teams
- Engage directly with customers to gather requirements and present solutions
- Contribute to the growth of software-defined vehicle solutions in Europe
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in software development for driver assistance or automated driving systems
- Proficiency in C++ and Python
- Experience developing parking or low-speed maneuvering functions
- Demonstrated ability to ship ADAS/AD software into series production vehicles
- Experience with requirements engineering, structured testing, and automotive-grade software quality
- Self-starter mentality with ability to quickly learn new technical concepts
- Proven ability to take initiative in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Series project experience with parking functions (APA, AVP, Remote Parking)
- Familiarity with worldwide regulations and standards for automated parking (e.g., UN R79, ISO 22737)
- Experience working hands-on with prototype vehicles
- Experience with simulation tools for scenario-based testing
- Previous experience in a high-paced startup or technology environment
