Function Developer - Parking

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and own parking functionalities including Automated Parking Assist (APA), Remote Parking, and Automated Valet Parking (AVP)
• Develop and integrate planning and control components for low-speed parking scenarios
• Use simulation and data tooling to track and improve KPIs over virtual tests and real-world data sets
• Test functions hands-on in test vehicles on test tracks and public roads
• Collaborate with simulation and data tooling experts to accelerate development
• Share common components, tooling, and data processes with active safety and L2++ teams
• Engage directly with customers to gather requirements and present solutions
• Contribute to the growth of software-defined vehicle solutions in Europe

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in software development for driver assistance or automated driving systems
• Proficiency in C++ and Python
• Experience developing parking or low-speed maneuvering functions
• Demonstrated ability to ship ADAS/AD software into series production vehicles
• Experience with requirements engineering, structured testing, and automotive-grade software quality
• Self-starter mentality with ability to quickly learn new technical concepts
• Proven ability to take initiative in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Series project experience with parking functions (APA, AVP, Remote Parking)
• Familiarity with worldwide regulations and standards for automated parking (e.g., UN R79, ISO 22737)
• Experience working hands-on with prototype vehicles
• Experience with simulation tools for scenario-based testing
• Previous experience in a high-paced startup or technology environment
