Function Developer – Parking

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and own parking functionalities such as Automated Parking Assist (APA), Remote Parking, and Automated Valet Parking (AVP)
• Develop and integrate planning and control components tailored to low-speed parking scenarios
• Utilize internal simulation and data tooling to track and improve KPIs across virtual and real-world datasets
• Test functions hands-on in test vehicles on tracks and public roads
• Collaborate with simulation and data experts to accelerate function development
• Engage directly with customers to gather requirements and present technical solutions

Requirements

• 4+ years of software development experience in ADAS or automated driving systems
• Proficiency in C++ and Python
• Experience developing parking or low-speed maneuvering functions (e.g., APA, remote parking, or path planning in confined spaces)
• Demonstrated ability to ship ADAS/AD software into series production vehicles
• Strong understanding of requirements engineering, structured testing, and automotive-grade software quality
• Self-starter mentality with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Series project experience specifically with parking functions (APA, AVP, Remote Parking)
• Familiarity with worldwide regulations and standards for automated parking (e.g., UN R79, ISO 22737)
• Hands-on experience working with prototype vehicles
• Experience using simulation tools for scenario-based testing
• Background working in a high-paced startup or technology environment
