Fumigator, AGRI

Responsibilities

• Perform container, tarp, and vessel fumigations following SGS guidelines and SOPs
• Generate documentation for vessel and quarantined container fumigations
• Accomplish inspection requirements according to job scope
• Maintain constant communication with operations and keep accurate logs
• Deliver samples to the laboratory for analysis
• Follow all government regulations pertaining to fumigation services
• Support special projects such as grain grading or field risk assessments

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1–3 years of experience in a fumigating role preferred
• Valid Pesticide Applicator License
• Confined Space Training Level 1
• First Aid Level 1
• WHMIS certification
• Transportation of Dangerous Goods certification
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle (Mandatory)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations with decimals and fractions
