Fullstack SDET (Mobile & Backend)

Responsibilities

• Own automation frameworks across Android, iOS, Web, APIs, and backend services using Appium, REST Assured, and TestNG
• Drive end-to-end testing strategies covering customer money journeys across mobile apps, microservices, message queues, and data pipelines
• Build CI/CD-integrated test suites in GitHub Actions to validate changes from PR through staging to production
• Manage release validation including mobile builds, feature flags, A/B tests, and phased production rollouts
• Establish contract, schema, and non-functional testing to ensure APIs remain backward-safe and resilient
• Leverage observability tools like Crashlytics, Sentry, and Grafana to catch regressions and drive RCAs

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of experience in QA or SDET roles, ideally automating mobile and backend testing for consumer products
• Proficiency in Java with clean coding habits
• Hands-on experience with Appium and REST Assured
• Strong understanding of API design, data contracts, microservices, and asynchronous workflows (queues, cron jobs, pub/sub)
• Ability to debug using Charles Proxy, ADB, logs, and observability platforms

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or K6
• Familiarity with message brokers like Kafka or SQS
• Exposure to AWS cloud infrastructure
