Fullstack Lead Developer

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical guarantor for the Shopify architecture and the entire digital ecosystem
• Make key technical decisions regarding performance, security, and scalability
• Develop core features using Liquid, React/Next.js, Node.js, and Shopify apps
• Ensure reliable data flows between Shopify and external systems such as ERP, WMS, CRM, and DataLake
• Define and evolve technical best practices including CI/CD, QA, automated testing, and documentation
• Lead and grow a new tech team from scratch, including recruitment and mentorship
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers to ensure technical feasibility and drive a high-impact product culture

Requirements

• 6 to 10 years of web development experience
• At least 2 years of experience as a Tech Lead or Lead Developer
• Expert knowledge of Shopify, including Liquid, apps, and performance optimization
• Proficiency in React, Next.js, Node.js, and TypeScript
• Strong expertise in API architectures (REST and GraphQL) and third-party integrations
• Solid understanding of CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, and security best practices
• Natural technical leadership and the ability to make structural decisions in a fast-growing environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building and scaling tech teams from the ground up
• Previous experience working in high-growth scale-up environments
• Strong entrepreneurial spirit and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving
