Fullstack Engineer

Mercura (YC W25) helps companies in the real world move at software speed by automating back-office workflows for massive industries like healthcare, education, and utilities. Having grown to $2M ARR in its first year, the team is now scaling towards $10M and expanding into the US market.

Responsibilities

• Design and build high-performance, reliable systems powering AI products
• Own features end-to-end from architecture and implementation to deployment and monitoring
• Develop scalable APIs and backend systems to support AI capabilities
• Translate real-world workflows into product and engineering decisions
• Contribute to LLM engineering and AI system integration
• Shape overall system architecture and engineering tooling

Requirements

• Strong experience with React, TypeScript, and Python
• Proven track record of building complex, production-grade software systems
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS/GCP)
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform)
• High agency, ownership mindset, and ability to work in a fast-paced startup
• Desire to work in-person in Munich with high intensity

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating LLMs or AI systems into production software
• Experience with large-scale data pipelines
