Fullstack Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own significant areas of the Monolith frontend, including architecture, component design, and implementation
• Design and build modern, responsive UIs using React and TypeScript for complex, data-heavy views
• Collaborate with Design to evolve the design system and component library
• Drive frontend performance improvements regarding bundle size, rendering, and network usage
• Work with backend engineers on Python services to design API contracts and shape data models
• Implement backend functionality in Python to improve UX and unlock new workflows
• Maintain high code quality through design, code reviews, testing, and documentation
• Mentor other engineers on frontend best practices and UX thinking

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Advanced proficiency in React and TypeScript
• Experience building data-heavy and visualization-centric UIs (dashboards, charts, etc.)
• Solid experience with Python in production (FastAPI, Flask, or Django)
• Experience with SQL databases like PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and major cloud providers
• Strong habits around unit, integration, and E2E testing

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building UIs for technical users like ML engineers or data scientists
• Familiarity with GraphQL and typed API clients
• Experience with SSR/SSG frameworks
• Prior work with time-series, experiment tracking, or ML platforms
• Exposure to ML/AI workflows and frontend observability tools
