Fullstack Engineer

About the Company

Baba is rebuilding healthcare for older adults. By pairing older adults with expert advocates like nurses or social workers, Baba coordinates care, manages insurance appeals, and researches specialists to make navigating healthcare easier.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain web applications, APIs, and backend services for the patient advocacy platform
• Design and implement automated QA and monitoring systems to audit patient outcomes
• Develop internal tools and dashboards to streamline clinical workflows
• Architect data models and pipelines to support a growing marketplace of advocates, providers, and patients
• Collaborate with the founder and clinical team to translate operational bottlenecks into product features

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional engineering experience at tech and product-driven companies
• Proficiency in backend languages such as Python, Go, Rust, or TypeScript
• Understanding of distributed systems concepts
• Ability to thrive in fast-growing, ambiguous environments
• Strong focus on reliability, safety, and performance

Preferred Qualifications

• Interest in AI/ML
• Former founder or early-stage startup engineer experience
