Full-Time Faculty, Nursing Simulation

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructional activity including simulation, theory (didactic), and clinical experience hours.
• Facilitate simulation and skills-based learning experiences using high-fidelity systems.
• Collaborate with faculty to integrate simulation technology and education strategy into the curriculum.
• Manage simulation spaces, technology, and equipment maintenance in coordination with IT and vendors.
• Provide student advising, mentoring, and guidance regarding academic and career matters.
• Engage in scholarly activity, including research, professional development, and clinical certification maintenance.
• Participate in departmental and university service, including committees and recruitment efforts.

Requirements

• Doctorate or Master's degree in nursing or a related field.
• Maryland Board of Nursing certification (or eligibility).
• Current CPR certification.
• Clinical nursing experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in nursing simulation.
• College-level teaching experience.
• Recent clinical nursing experience (within the past 1-4 years).
• CNE or certification in a specific area of clinical practice.
• Proficiency with Blackboard or similar learning management systems.
