Full Stack Web Developer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive, scalable web applications using React Hooks, TypeScript, and State Management libraries.
• Implement complex mapping features using ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript (4.x), including 2D/3D visualizations and spatial queries.
• Build and extend custom widgets for ArcGIS Experience Builder (Developer Edition).
• Optimize interaction with ArcGIS REST APIs and Feature Services to improve geometry rendering performance.
• Utilize the Esri Calcite Design System to ensure consistent and accessible UI/UX standards.
• Partner with GIS Analysts and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience with React (Functional Components, Hooks).
• 3+ years of experience focused on ArcGIS web applications.
• Deep expertise in the Esri Ecosystem, including ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, and ArcGIS Pro.
• Proficiency in SQL (PostGIS or SQL Server) and Python (ArcPy) for data automation.
• Strong understanding of coordinate systems, projections, and spatial algorithms.
• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, GIS, or a related STEM field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with modern front-end build tools like Vite or Webpack.
• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0 authentication within mapping APIs.
• Ability to explain complex spatial concepts to non-technical audiences.
