About the role
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software throughout the end-to-end lifecycle to meet industry, customer, and safety standards
- Develop and optimize software products and functionalities for complex system integrations
- Participate in the agile software development lifecycle, including planning, reviews, and customer meetings
- Debug and resolve software issues to ensure high reliability and efficiency
- Perform code reviews and adhere to established software standards and design principles
- Execute and document software research and development projects
- Maintain software libraries and COTS products to ensure security and performance
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in foundational Computer Science knowledge and object-oriented design
- 3+ years of experience in Java, C++, or Python object-oriented programming on full stack projects
- Active Top-Secret U.S. Security Clearance
- SCI eligibility and ability to successfully complete a CI Polygraph post-start
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field
- Experience with web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React
- Proficiency with Spring Framework, Hibernate, RDBMS, NoSQL, and REST/Open API
- Experience with Agile/SAFe practices, TDD, DevSecOps, and CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Knowledge of middleware technologies such as Java Message Service (JMS) and WebLogic
- Experience with dependency management tools like Maven, Gradle, or Ivy
