Full-Stack Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance enterprise applications for supply chain automation within one of Europe’s largest retail organizations
• Participate in the entire development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment
• Work within an agile team to maintain core systems driving forecasting, replenishment, and logistics operations
• Collaborate with platform teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-performance solutions
• Contribute to the developer community by sharing expertise and driving technical excellence

Requirements

• Experience or solid understanding of backend development using Kotlin, Java, or similar languages
• Experience with frontend technologies such as Vue or React
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native and container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with relational or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Understanding of web communication fundamentals (HTTP, REST) and messaging systems
• Ability to write automated tests and a commitment to writing secure, maintainable code
• Degree in IT with a focus on application development or a relevant IT apprenticeship
• Proficiency in English; openness to learning German is a plus
