Full-Stack Software Engineer

Neros is a defense technology company rebuilding America’s drone industrial base. We design and manufacture high-performance unmanned systems that are tested in combat, iterated at startup speed, and built at massive scale.

Responsibilities

• Take critical internal and customer-facing software tools from concept to production
• Design, build, and ship robust tools across the stack including front-end frameworks, desktop applications, and back-end services
• Make architectural decisions and own delivery against deadlines
• Maintain a high bar for performance and reliability

Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant industry experience
• Proficiency with React, React Native, Node.js, and TypeScript
• Experience building web and desktop applications (e.g., NW.js or Electron)
• Hands-on proficiency with Python and frameworks like Django or Flask
• Strong foundation in SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and microservices
• Experience with CI tooling such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins
• Experience with container orchestration tools like Docker, Kubernetes, or Podman
• Strong computer science fundamentals

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building hardware-companion or device-configuration software (serial/USB comms)
• Experience with Bazel build system
• Experience with time-series/telemetry data using InfluxDB or Grafana
• FPV or drone domain knowledge
