Full-Stack Software Engineer, Compute Foundations

Responsibilities

• Build full-stack web applications that help researchers and operators understand cluster health, job failures, and usable capacity in real time.
• Design data models, APIs, and visualizations to make large-scale scheduling and resource allocation easier to inspect.
• Develop scalable backend services that process high-volume cluster and workload data with low latency and high reliability.
• Collaborate with researchers and infrastructure teams to identify and solve high-leverage operational problems.
• Build intuitive frontend workflows that connect users to underlying scheduling, storage, and compute systems.

Requirements

• Significant experience in full-stack development with expertise in modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular).
• Proficiency in backend technologies such as Python, Go, or Node.js.
• Proven track record of building scalable, high-performance web applications for complex distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of APIs, distributed data systems, and cloud infrastructure.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, highly collaborative environments with evolving priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native application deployment.
• Understanding of AI/ML workload scheduling and orchestration challenges.
• Experience with real-time data processing, visualization libraries, and observability tooling.
