Full Stack Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own feature design and implementation with a focus on maintainability
• Collaborate with designers and engineers on web application development
• Drive the direction of the product, including building a developer console from the ground up
• Perform code reviews and evangelize best practices
• Design and build highly available, resilient, and scalable systems
• Work closely with GovTech and other government agencies to deliver impactful solutions

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related disciplines
• At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience
• Proficiency in frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JS/TS) and web frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue)
• Ability to grasp business domain concepts and set technical directions
• Experience mentoring teammates in technical craft

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Node.js and TypeScript
• Experience architecting multi-tenancy systems
• Experience with search technologies like ElasticSearch or Lunr
• Experience creating frameworks, libraries, or tools for application deployment
• Previous experience with developer tooling
