Responsibilities

• Build bespoke applications using Ruby on Rails
• Manage and configure infrastructure stack including AWS, Docker and Kubernetes
• Build and improve Continuous Integration services using Github Actions and Gitlab Pipeline
• Develop high quality and well-tested code
• Use AI tools to enhance productivity and automate tasks
• Work in an Agile software team alongside Product Owners and UX/UI designers
• Continuously learn and share knowledge to grow team capabilities

Requirements

• Experience as a software developer
• Experience with Ruby on Rails
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks like Vue or React
• Experience with cloud environments such as AWS and Kubernetes
• Expertise in producing modern, accessible web applications
• Computer Science degree or equivalent experience
• Ability to work onsite in Wellington, New Zealand
• NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using AI development tools
• Ability to adapt well to ambiguity and change
