Full-Stack Platform Engineer

About the Company

Condor is building the financial intelligence layer for clinical development. We connect clinical operations, vendor activity, and financial signals into a single, real-time intelligence layer, helping biopharma companies manage complex R&D environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and deploy backend services, APIs, and platform components
• Build and maintain platform infrastructure using serverless architecture
• Collaborate with AI/ML teams to design backend interfaces for LLM-based agents and automated reasoning workflows
• Build backend logic for clinical trial accounting, financial forecasting, and budgeting
• Develop frontend components using React as needed
• Investigate and resolve complex production issues and perform root cause analysis
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Participate in architectural discussions and technical planning
• Mentor team members on backend best practices and system design

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience with a focus on backend development
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Proven track record of building and scaling backend systems, APIs, and data-intensive applications
• Deep expertise in at least one backend programming language (Python preferred, Go acceptable)
• Understanding of full-stack development including frontend frameworks

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with Django or Flask
• Experience with TypeScript and React
• Hands-on experience integrating backend services with LLM-based systems (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, etc.)
• Experience building agentic AI workflows or AI-powered automation features
